Parents are expected to keep the uniform in good repair and to replace any outgrown or damaged items. Parents with children already at the school who need to replace garments should allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of a major item. Please do not wait until the October half term break before ordering a new winter coat.
Wearing our School Uniform: We expect all pupils to wear their Buxlow uniform with pride. That means every pupil must arrive at school in the morning and leave at the end of the day wearing school uniform neatly, tidily and correctly.
Summer Uniform: The summer uniform is to be worn from the first day of the Summer Term until the October half-term, depending on the weather.
Winter Uniform: From October half-term, depending on the weather, the winter uniform is worn until the end of Spring Term.
Labelling: Everything must be clearly labelled with labels bearing your child’s name. Items unsuitable for a woven label such as shoes may have the name written in indelible ink.
Lost Property: Please enquire at the School office. Lost property is kept in the Medical Room opposite Mrs Hutchinson. It is best to report any missing items to the classteacher as soon as possible after loss to assist you in your search. Any items left in the lost property basket at the end of each term are passed to Buxlow Friends for second hand uniform sales.
