Buxlow Clubs & Extensions
Clubs and Extension Classes are an essential part of school life, providing opportunities to broaden and enrich learning experiences and foster stronger relationships. In our small school with a big heart, clubs also help to develop social skills through increased opportunities for cross-age interaction.
Summer Term Clubs 2023
Educational Visits
We arrange these visits for each class and ensure that they are connected to the topics being studied in the curriculum. For younger students, we utilize coaches that come equipped with seat belts, while older pupils have the opportunity to experience various modes of transportation such as trains, buses, and the underground, especially when venturing into central London.
Curriculum Enrichment Days
Throughout the year, we organize several themed days that support the curriculum and promote personal growth in various areas. We carefully choose external visitors who provide quality experiences to enhance the students' comprehension of a subject.
Residential Outdoor Education Trip
In the Summer Term, pupils in Years 3 to 6 have the exceptional opportunity to participate in a residential multi-activity trip that challenges them to push their limits and work collaboratively. This immersive experience enables children to learn and grow by doing, fostering their self-esteem and confidence. Please note that this residential trip incurs a separate fee.
Other School Events
At Buxlow, music and drama play a significant role in our students' lives. Many of our most memorable events revolve around the performing arts, and you can find more information about them on our Arts page. To stay up-to-date on upcoming events, you can check our Diary Dates page.
